Chesapeake Dance Center is now accepting instructors' resumes for teaching positions for the 2020/2021 school year. We teach all ages and levels (three years through adults; pre-ballet, ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern.) Applicants must be able to commit to and complete the school year. Substitute teachers also needed.
Qualifications: Instructors should be technically proficient in the subjects that they teach, have good customer service skills, the ability to manage the classroom & work with children and adults of all ages, be able to develop and execute appropriate lesson plans & choreography, and be able to rehearse students to be well-prepared for performances.

Front Desk Assistants
Chesapeake Dance Center is currently seeking a friendly, outgoing individual for the position of Front Desk Assistant / Receptionist. Applicants should be able to greet parents and students, answer phone calls, handle new inquiries both in person and on the phone, explain programs and fees, schedule students, collect fees, ensure waiting area is clean and presentable, and other administrative duties as needed.
