PILATES    


 
 
Mat Pilates is a group of low impact exercises created by Joseph Pilates. Most of class is spent on the floor working through exercises that utilize your deep core muscles. As the class progresses the intensity increases as periphery muscles, such as arms and legs, are incorporated. The effect is strengthening and lengthening your entire body, creating long and lean muscles.
 
Students should bring an exercise mat or towel to class.
 
Pilates meets on Mondays from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. during our Six Week Summer Session.
